Summer Events at The Wharf DC

Rock the Dock

Starting on May 31, 2023, and going all summer long, you can catch free concerts at Transit Pier in The Wharf with Rock the Dock. Happening every 7 PM on Wednesdays, this event features live performances from local bands and artists in various genres, like rock, R&B, pop, jazz, and go-go.

Grab a Pacifico beer or drink from Cantina Bambina, a snack from one of the many Wharf restaurants, and find a seat or dock your boat by the floating stage, and get ready for a chill night of music and good times!

Friday Night Dancing

If you feel like busting out a move, Friday Night Dancing brings you dancing and cocktails every 2nd Friday of the month from June to September. Starting on June 9, 2023, visit Transit Pier at 7 PM for a night of dancing, with a new style introduced every month, from country line dancing to salsa.

Need a couple of lessons? No problem! Professional dancers will be around to help you get started. And after you’ve worked up a sweat, you can enjoy a cocktail at Cantina Bambina before you continue dancing the night away.
